On our way back to Chivay, we’ll visit the charming villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque. These small towns feature colonial churches, ancient tombs, and Pre-Inca terraces, giving us a glimpse into local life in the world’s second deepest canyon.
At noon, we’ll arrive at the hot springs, where you can relax and enjoy the soothing waters in a peaceful natural setting. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a tasty buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Chivay.
On our return to Arequipa, we’ll stop at Patapampa, a stunning viewpoint where you can see the Ampato, Sabancaya, and Hualca Hualca volcanoes side by side.
